Race one - spun in T5 half way into a 35 min race. Hit by another racer who spun in the exact same place on one of the last laps of the race. Fortunately, Ryan had gotten out of the kart and was watching from a few feet away. Pretty significant body damage to my eye but apparently NBD in the karting world. Race 2 (with heavily duct taped right side). Finished FIRST in class (out of 1...). Consistent 1:45s - 1:48s on SP Main. Awesome for a kart with the junior restrictor installed. He has lax tryouts tomorrow so his racing weekend is done but he had a blast!
