Default Pictures from today's NoVa gathering: Vu's Valve Adj

Here are some pics I took from today's NoVa gathering to help Vu with his first valve adjustment: http://forums.pelicanparts.com/showt...hreadid=119677

Sorry I had to leave at 11:00 but it was great to see everyone and I'm glad to hear it all went back together

If anyone has pictures they would like to post, and don't have webspace I can host them on itvl.com

It was great meeting a few "new" guys from the board in person. Sounds like I should have stayed for lunch.

The lunch was great, Dan. Thanks to Vu for introducing some new and tasty menu items to the Garage & Grille.

So what's next on the local calendar of events?

Default Would have liked to made it

Would have liked to made it to the party. I spent the day wrapping up a project on my '87 Toyota Landcruiser: Header install and complete de-smog (licensed in Ohio). Wrapped the job up Sunday morning.

I have the parts and tools to do my valve adjustment but decided to wait until I get heater backdate pieces. I hate re-installing stuff I plan to take off sometime. My valve job may have to wait for winter, we are in the process of buying a new home among other things that's going to tie me up for a while.

Looks like it was a great time, sharp crew, great food and the blue cups. Definitely the right way to go about it. And to think the price people pay to drop it off at a shop to get it done, what kind of experience is that?

Well, Charlie and I had a blast on Sunday changing oil and tranny fluid on my 993 and then installing a new starter in my Carrera.

Next Sunday I have to replace a CV axle and install a new elec. seat switch. It never ends.
