Default Tire Wear Advice

I would appreciate any opinions on this wear.

I wore this pattern into the front left at Mid Ohio. I flipped the fronts and both tires developed the same pattern. The scallop (cresent shaped flat spots) depth and spacing is consitent around the whole tire.

I had developed considerable understeer at Summit Point Main last month. This caused rapid shoulder wear but no scalloping. I added 3/4 degree neg camber for Mid Ohio. It didn't help and I struggled with keyhole, T9 and the Carousel. I was trailing the brakes longer trying to improve front grip.

Any ideas? Don't want to influence opinion but two guesses so far are toe and ABS intervention. I am not feeling ABS in the pedal but I am only lightly on the pedal at turn it. The wheel, however, is chattering.

PSM is on. It was first time to Mid Ohio, so I thought it best to run with it on. Could the light brake pedal combined with loss of grip cause the ABS to engage?

Thanks!

I am no ex-spurt but to me it looks consistent with too much toe in. There are other things than can cause this in a track environment. You might have too much toe on that side or the suspension is not optimal for the driving style or aggression. I would start by checking total toe and the toe for each side.

Thanks! Toe was the reaction from a couple of people at the track.
