Default 23/33 torsion bars, custom valved Bilsteins

I’ve made the decision to move to coilovers so selling my current suspension.

23mm SwayAway hollow front torsion bars, p/n SAW1823T
(new spring 2008)
33mm Sanders hollow rear torsion bars
(new March 2009)

Front Bilstein inserts (for Boge struts), p/n B36-0114
Valved for 23mm tb’s, shafts shortened 19mm

Rear Bilstein shocks, p/n B46-0169H2
Valved for 33mm tb’s
(all Bilstein valving and seals done by Bilstein Feb 2009)

This combination works very well on my ’86 (2480lb weight) on the track. Some of you have seen my car at VIR (long trek from Chicago but worth it). To replicate this setup would be roughly $1800 for the parts. $1200 for everything, not willing to separate at this point. But with one catch- I would need to know so I could pull the parts off the car before shoulder surgery on the 13th, otherwise I won’t be able to pull apart until probably mid-February (unless Alan H wants to come out and do it for me )

Ed

Calling Mr. Streak. This is what you need to upgrade. Shocks included.

Rebel Racing coilover conversion on Bilstein Sports rear with 550 lb springs, modified RSR front struts though for now I'm just moving to 24mm torsion bars in front until I cage the car next year.

Hey Rob. Sorry I missed you at VIR in November. Just too much going on at the timre. I'll see you this coming season, once I get the engine done and suspension in. Did you ever find another set of wheels?

Tell him not to drill 'lightening' holes in the spindle reinforcement tabs. Don't know WTF he was thinking when he did that to Vics set. Oh, and you should order them now if you want to be on track this time next year
