Default Aluminum Jack Choices

Time to buy a new aluminum jack for the track. I have looked and all I see are the usual suspects and frankly all seem to be the same jack with different brand names priced from less than $100 for 1.5T at HF to over $500 for 2-3T via Sears online.

Anybody has bought one lately or has a reco? I am thinking about this due to free shipping.

I wished there was a US made jack, but I have not found one to even complain about the likely asking price.

Get the larger HF Aluminum jack next time on sale or w/coupon.
My BIG HF jack is like 7 years old and still lifts like a charm. L got me a small one for ~$75 that I take to the track. It's still working well too and the handle does double duty as a breaker bar and hood prop.

Oh, and try not to over think this

At that price, shipping doesn't seem "free." Not been happy with stuff I got at JEGS. I agree on the HF one.

Another plug for the larger HF one. I've owned both the larger and smaller, and the larger is disproportionately better. The small one I bought first (maybe 8years ago now) and it didn't have a relief valve. So, over pump it and you'll blow the seals. For all I know, the newer versions now have one.

The larger one is much better quality.

HF one is cheaper, but if you don't have a store nearby then I can see how shipping might put it over the cost of this one. I imagine its similar in quality to the HF. It even looks like the HF just in different colors.

Another plug for the larger HF one. I've had mine for 10+ years and other than cleaning up some rust on the fasteners and casters, it has been trouble free.

I have a HF right near by, and will be driving from DC to NY next weekend (likely Friday night but possibly early Saturday morning, hitting NJ around 9 PM Friday or 9:30 AM Saturday). I'd be happy to deliver (to Caroline... ) anywhere kind of near I-95 or I-295. Or on my way back Sunday.
