Looper's for fuel tank restoration
$490 to restore the T's 34-year-old fuel tank. Lot less than a new tank, waaaay easier than DIY, looks great and comes with a lifetime warranty!

They are a bunch of good ol' boys that specialize in radiators and gas tanks. I used to use them alot when I was running the Land Rover shop in Rockville and at one time replacement radiators were on intergalatic backorder and basically non-existent for the Discoverys and Range Rovers. Loopers was who I used for the recoring. I think Tony K used them for his radiator rebuild as well.

Gas tanks, radiators, oil coolers, intercoolers, and more.
These guys know their stuff, and do first quality work for reasonable prices. Michael gave me the reference, and I've sent a bunch of people there since. All very happy with the work and the prices.

That is cheap considering the time and work involved it took me to redo my tank some time ago. 3 days of grinding, scraping, eching, soldering, sealing, coating and painting.
While we are on the subject. I found an F.A.A. certified oil cooler cleaning co. that does top notch work and is not ridiculous in price. Pulse ultrasonic thermal and chemical cleaning of coolers. I had my stock 912 cooler and a Mocal 19 row done for $30 each. Came back spotless inside and out and vacuum packed in plastic with plugs in the ports. Next day turn around to. holy crap! that's expensive....

Aftermarket and raw. They still need to be coated before you can instal. Still not a bad deal if you have a real bad tank.
