Just got back from Koons Chevy, was looking to trade my tired Rodeo for a Tahoe, and stumbled on this.
http://www.gmbuypower.com/vehicleHom...p;higherPrice= Koons is selling them brand new for $5000 a pop. Too funny....

That would be a mid-sized car in Spain (I know we don't live in Spain). I guess I would be going for a Hybrid before one of those, especially with GM's infamous build quality. Think about it, though. 1/2 the price of a Yukon (probably costs almost the same to build though) and the same amount of gas it takes to drive to work will have you 3/4 the way to california!!

I might have to check this piece out. I was looking at ~97-99 Civics, which cost more. Thing is, you could NEVER sell this thing, just leave it on the side of the road when it stops.

I think its Daewoo who builds these for their "parent" GM. Likely a piece of crap from any perspective that causes one to own a Porsche, but, like the man said, they are cheap and well.. they're cheap! buy a couple in case you need to wait for parts from Korea when one breaks down.

The website has them at $10K and up. I would think that in todays dollars $5K would be real tough to pull off but they might be tryng to get some buzz going.
I bought a new 1978 Honda Civic 5 speed for $5K but that was in 1978. Drove that car into the ground.
