Default How to ship fenders?

Need to ship a pair of fenders to Miami FL. Been a long time since I've done this. Is greyhound still viable? Any better methods?

If they are long hood fenders, I'll drive down after I swap out my carrera fenders for them.

Greyhound seems to be be what I see people doing. Or a nice big box and fedex. Greyhound is definitely cheaper though.

A client shipped a VW rear skirt clip to me via greyhound. It arrived more bent from the shipping than all the years between 1952 and 2016.

I got a fender from fedex in a big cardboard box. Nice dent in the fender. If the buyer intends to use the parts w/o metalwork I think you need to build a plywood box, strap them to a pallet or something similar.

Greyhound is still available and seems to be the way. I shipped boxed-up fenders last year to NY. Arrived safely and undamaged. Box had foam-core frame around the edges and lots of filler. Its gonna be a toss-up. I've seen other build 1x1 framing into the edges sometimes.

Good luck!

Fastenal will ship store to store. I would strap to a pallet build a box and ship via them.

Yeah, I've recently heard of this. I've asked for a quote.
