Default FS 1999 996 with aero and mods

I bought this 996 over a year ago from Suncoast Exotics in Florida and had it shipped to my home in Maryland. Since that time, I have put less than 1000 miles on it (the majority of that was a round trip to Summit Point back in July for Porsche fest) During that trip it turned from 89k miles to 90k miles. Over the last year, I have been debating with myself as to keep it as is, or set it up better for DE use. Since last year, I have bought for it a techquipment roll bar, an extra set of take off wheels from a gt3 (3 have tires and I also have a nice full set of slicks to be included), carbon fiber "astronaut" seats with all sliders and mounts, 2 sets of brand new 5pt harnesses, and a steering wheel for the track.
When I purchased the car, it came with the 19" Speedline wheels, H&R adjustable coil over suspension, Fabspeed headers, Fabspeed exhaust, Fabspeed cold air intake and a k&n drop in filter. as you can see, it has the aero package and has a now OOP Daytona front bumper and a Dave White Lowering kit. I also have an unopened set of trailering tabs that mount to the jack points..
They did not send me maintenance records, but the dealer was supposedl intimately familiar with the car and satisfactorily answered my questions including the replacement of the IMS at 55k miles at Suncoast Porsche. The 99 has the double row ims with less than 1% failure by the way. There are no leaks and no signs of any imminent problems. The car runs very strong, has great oil pressure and should suit you very well.
If you've seen the cars I bring to the track, you know I don't usually bring anything worth more than 4 or 5k, so I'm tossed up over using this car or selling it. If interested, I will show you the receipt from where I bought it and then paid over 700 for shipping (which is more than my asking price before I bought all the extras.) You are getting a 996 with thousands of dollars in extras, The extra seats, roll bar and wheels alone are probably 5k.

Asking 18k for everything.

Edited the ad because I forgot to mention it is wired for Sirius / XM radio, and has HID headlights. There are also 2 amps in the trunk and it had an 8" Speaker box that I removed because it wasn't my taste. I also bought an extra baffled oil pan that will be included.

Some info for anyone who cares. This is copied from an email I wrote to a potential looker.
As for the service history, I recommend calling Jay at Suncoast Exotics. He was very adamant that this car belonged to a good friend of his and that he knew it inside and out. Just remind him it is the black 99 996 with the aero gt3 kit that used to belong to his friend. The number there is 941 330 1601. Anyway, as for the car, it is a clean, decent car, but by no means a concours candidate. There is definitely some paintwork around it (I used to work in a body shop and I couldn't see and evidence of repair work) for who knows what reason. I do know that the car had some horrendous airbrush work, including a "Pirate Skull" done by some big wig cigarette boat painter down in Florida. Supposedly 6k dollars worth. According to Jay, he could have sold the car 10 times over for 24k, except everyone hated the airbrush work. I asked him why nobody wanted it after he had the airbrush work painted over, and his excuse was, "They were so turned off by the airbrushing they didn't want to consider it." Who knows if that is true or not? To me 24k just seems high anyway. There are 2 small chips on the lower front valence as you noted, and one minor chip on the back edge of the door. There is a small sag in the clear on the passenger door, which could be easily sanded out. Never bothered me enough to worry about it.
The upholstery is probably a 7 out of ten. Nothing is ripped, just the materials Porsche used were not the best, so things like the e brake and door handles are sort of scuffed. The leather is not soft as day one, but not hard like a rock either. It is a 6 speed manual and as an example of what I mean about the materials, the shift knobs wear (as did this one) and instead of replacing it, someone taped it off and resprayed the silver part. Not awful, but for 100 bucks, just get a new knob already! The stereo is a custom job, and is working out of one speaker only, which I have not looked into.
To me, none of that mattered, because my intent was strictly to track the car. That's where the real value is - in the work that is already done on the suspension and such. If I were to give the car a physical 7.5 out of ten, the way the car runs is a 10 for sure. So in conclusion, it is a very attractive car. It is not perfect. If you are looking for a dd, this could be it but it does ride fairly firm. If you want a car to win shows with, keep looking. If you want to get sporty and do some spirited driving, some auto-x, or some DE/racing, this is a great platform to start with
Thanks. The car is in snow hill md 21863, which is a stones throw from ocean city md. I did not get a ppi because at the time, I owned a wholesale dealership and had access to dealer only websites, which is how I came across the car. The vehicles are basically fully ppi and then ranked and a fairly detailed description is given. Based on that, and my conversation with Jay, I bought the car. I kept making him online offers that he declined and by persistence, I noticed he had the car registered to run through a dealer only auction in Florida. I wound up buying it from him via the auction for less than I kept offering him, and way less than I am selling it for with all the extra parts. I used to have screen shots of everything, including his ad and the auction listing etc but I lost it all in a bizarre incident where my boat broke down and the coast guard made me jump in the ocean because they thought the waves were going to beach the boat. Guess where my phone was when I jumped in.
Denis
Ps if you buy the car, the title is in the name of my business and I will have a retail dealer sign it over to you.
Denis

Also, the owner prior to me had the car at least since 2002 and 22k miles. Before Florida, it was in California. If I can make contact with the PO, I will post.
