Default Spring Cleaning the Garage

After all the grinding and welding, making a mess by making flares for the 911, and all the dust, which goes everywhere, it was time to clean up the mess.

Here are some picture after clean-up. I know, it will not stay for long like that, but I enjoyed it after I was done.

Cheers
Engelbert

Very nice. Is that a detached garage you had built or part of the house?

This is the detached garage, actually the original portion which was build to the same time as the house. It just took 8 years until I finished it. Two years ago I run out of space and extended it by 26ft, and now I'm out of space again. I need to go and hide, so the cars cannot find me.

BTW: the VW is not done yet. I waiting for a hot day to I can blast all the areas where it has some surface rust, and then prime, and spray some chip guard where it was done original. After that I need to paint the whole thing. I hope to get a start on the '70 911T, maybe when the bug is away for painting.

Cheers
Engelbert

Very nice
Mine still looks like a bomb went off, since I took my 914 apart and we redid the basement.
I hope to have mine photo worthy before the end if summer.

I was up all last night doing the same. There is really no better feeling than a clean, organized work space.

Working on a project in the above.....

I too am in the middle of a many years in the making cleanup. Digging through many layers of everything. Organising, reorganizing, consolidating and discarding unneeded or duplicate stuff. I think the earth has a slight wobble from the mass of the stuff that has agglomerated in the shop and it is my duty to all to spread it out a bit more evenly. A free or for sale thread coming soon.

I LOVE this. Nothing like a clean workspace. Now that the inside of the Summit Point house is done I have to get to work on making the garage and barn prettified. We had the concrete guys out yesterday and hope they can get us on the schedule soon.
