Default Hershey 2004 vs. Rennsport II

Count me out for Hershey 2004. The decision between the two events isn't even close.

Anybody up for a caravan down to Daytona for Rennsport II

You mean they're both scheduled during the same time?

they'd be smart to have a DE event in Daytona.
If so, i'd love to drive the 911 down.

if not, looks like i'll fly and rent a car.

Well, 18" wheels may be on that list. I think an RS clutch kit and lwf, RS motor mounts, MO30 sway bars, litronic headlights, brake scoop ducting and some minor maint. items too. I'm sure I'll already have Euro tail lenses and front blinkers by then. I also plan to do the split spoiler grill, as seen on some C4S's. I'm sure a trip to Daytona would be cheaper, but nothing's too good for my baby.

I skipped Hershey last year because I found it disappointing over the previous 2 years. One year I went with a shopping list, only to find lotsa junk. Another year, I went with a load of junk and was surprised to find people willing to pay real $$ for it. So now I keep everything I take off my cars -- worn out or not. There's some schmoe that wants a factory 930 intercooler or 3DLZ turbo!

I also went to Rennsport Reunion V1 last year and had a blast. I should've taken another day off work...ended up only seeing the festivities on Sunday. But I was impressed.

The real issue is the drive - Daytona is a long way away and its a lot of miles on the 'ol turb. I'm not sure I can convince the fiance to go along with me on the drive either...so if/when I go, it'll likely be a solo run.
