Default 928 RS4 Project Thread - Back From Paint

The 928 RS4 project is back from paint. Here’s a little run down of what was done:

• GTS flares
• Side maker delete
• Rear wiper delete
• Rub strip delete
• GTS rear bumper cover (on a 1980 body…)
• S4 fenders and front bumper cover
• Headlight washer delete
• Antenna delete
• Fuel Filler door delete
• Duel exhaust cutout
• Fully painted interior & engine bay
• Painted Porsche Polar Silver

On to the fun stuff… engine, suspension, steering, brakes...

Wow! Those are really small wheels for track use.

The cage was in the car when I picked it up... it looks good but I have no idea who built it.

I'm running this car in the "hand dolly" class where you're limited to an 8" tall tire.

Nice!!. BTW don't let them kid you, it seems that 928 dollys have bigger wheels than 911 dollys.

Do you plan to race or DE? I ask as the cage might have rule issues with some groups.

Love those flares! Seems like the project is coming along nicely. What does it weigh in its current state?
