Default BMW 1981 635 csi Euro

1981 BMW 635 csi Euro

1981 Grey market BMW 635 csi; I have the paperwork from when the car was imported into the united states that shows that it is compliant with US regulations. This car is a bit sportier and faster than the american model. The speedometer in the car reads 109,000 but it is not the original speedo. So I would assume that the 109,000 is from when the car was importded. The rest of the dash is written in german. Makes the car kindof a cool conversation piece. This car has air conditioning, which is rare for german models so it was most likely added after the fact. The a/c dosent work ( really never needed it). Probably has a leak somewhere, the fans in the engine compartment come on and the compressor runs I have just never charged it so I do not know what the problem is. The car comes with manual recaro seats (pass bolster has tear), alpina steering wheel and shifter. I have done a lot of work to this car and has been garaged since 2000 when had it repainted. Currently I have the TRX wheels and tires on it but included with the auction is a set of 16” BMW rims

1) 7 yrs ago entire car was stripped and repainted with spiez hecker Ascot Grey (original color); underside of car was bead blasted and coated, rear shock towers were rotted so they were completely cut out and replaced; passed alignment specifications with computerized frame machine. Bill for repaint and shock tower was over 8500.00
4) Rebuilt Drivesaft 200 miles ago
5) New Fuel Pump 200 miles ago
6) Waterpump replaced 100 miles ago
7) Short Shift Kit installed 50 miles ago
8) Heater Control Valve replaced 100 miles ago
9) New front springs 50 miles ago (original euro)
10) Replaced fuel rail lines
11) Changed oil filter 25 miles ago
12) Front Calipers and pads replaced with new 5 miles ago
13) New old stock original bmw carpet replaced 2 yrs ago
14) Previous owner replaced trani and clutch, (not more than 5k ago)
