The bmore location also lets me look at the scrap stuff they have with are usually large pieces to and just pay by the weight. Might be another option. I need a 1" thick by 16" square alum plate to use are a shim on my lift as the floor was out by an inch. They had a piece that worked then cut it to fit what I needed for free. I ended up with 4 1x4x4" lift pads and a large 1x16x16" shim for less then $50.
