On a more serious note, I now understand what I was experiencing. Although I thought my suspension was fairly stiff at the time, I now appreciate how soft it is (which is a good thing for street use). I was also on full tread brand new street tires, not to mention the fact that I was picking up my speed quite a bit. Consequently, I was starting to experience tread squirm and lateral movement of the "tires" at "relatively" high speeds going through the uphill esses, which was disturbing to me at the time. I now know that this type of lateral movement, while disturbing to newbies, is not the same type of movement you experience before the tires actually break lose, so I really didn't have "too" much to be concerned about. I really never want to go back on the track again with soft suspensions and street tires, although that would be better than not going on the track at all.
