One thought: you mentioned that you mounted them to the floor. Does this mean through the floor with bolts? If so I would recommend two things:
1. The through bolts "should" have a washer / plate on either side of the floor pan for added strength. Otherwise, you might find yourself strapped to a seat that is no longer attached to the floor and bouncing against your roll bar.
2. Use
Por-15 to prevent rust where you drilled through the pan and rubber grommets for added sealing.
