Before the trip home when I got nabbed, it was a helluva fun day at Middle Peninsula Airport. We were helping NASA determine whether the old back runways and tactical driving school track would be suitable for autocrossing. I got to drive 15-20 runs, 45-50 seconds each, 3rd gear in 3 sections of each run and several acorn-testing camel hump-like elevation changes. For you DE guys, that may not seem like much. But for an autocrosser that's a whole bunch of bonus adrenaline.
