Time to introduce myself ...
Hi, I'm a 10-year DMV resident, originally from the UK, currently to be found in DC (and often at Katie's on a Saturday morning). Current 'fleet' is a silver-on-red B6 S4 cabrio and a Model S. Previous vehicles of interest include a '66 912, 996 Millennium Edition, '74 Charger, '71 Alfa GT Junior, '03 E46 with Dinan bits, and a dozen or so Saabs of varying description. I'm a sucker for a project.
Sold my beloved 996ME a couple of years ago, and recently found myself looking at transaxle cars to fill the Porsche-shaped hole in my life. Anddd ... as the result of a slightly impulsive decision, there should (all going well) be a Guards Red 968 arriving in a couple of weeks. At least I got a PPI, which is more than I did for the 996
