The green 993 is officially dead and gone.
I definitely want another caged car - DE or Racing, and prefer a prepped car to be rules compliant.
I am weighing Vintage, E class, Spec Boxster, and whatever a 997/Cayman S (2009+) run in. I am even considering a C5 Vette.
I am second or third in line for a GTB1 Cayman, but I expect the first guy is likely to buy it later this week.
I want to be able to run pump gas for DE (reflash/whatever), and would like to keep consumable costs a tertiary consideration, not Cup cars with $10k/100 hr rebuilds, for example. Now that I am in Red, I would like to aim for sub 1:22 capable cars - I will pass on a 944 for now - and while faster than that time is ‘nice,’ it isn’t absolutely required.
I am not committed to a specific class, and I am even considering a 996 GT3 with a side order of SSM.
If you know of well prepped cars that you think are worth considering, please let me know. Finding slim pickings that don’t have something that is a question. Up to mid 60’s or 70, but would win major points at home for coming well below that.
