Our kids inherited this car from my sister, and since they're literally oceans apart we've all decided to sell it and split the proceeds between them.
My sister bought the car where she lived in Anchorage, and drove it very little as her health deteriorated and she spent most of her last few years on the East Coast. The kids drove it cross country for her in the summer of 2017, doubling the mileage to 16k. Since then, another 9k have been put on it for a total of 25,000 or so. Car is just as you'd expect: dead reliable, comfortable, good in snow and poor roads, and gets 30+mpg if you're halfway nice to it.
The only downside I can find is that it's on the slow side - says 148hp but sure doesn't feel like it. That's a big upside if you're buying for a kid, though.
The 2.0i Premium is nicely equipped: heated seats and mirrors (and since this is an AK car, a block heater), 6-speaker radio/CD player with Bluetooth, rubber floor mats, leather steering wheel and shift knob, reverse camera, and of course a full suite of ABS & stability nanny-tronics.
Dealers seem to want $19k, so we're asking $18k - possible part-trade on NA or NB Miata for kid #2.
