I like that original color.. Also like any of the Jelly bean colors -Continental Orange, Viper green, there was a nice Iroc blue as well.
My SC used to have CIS injected 3.2ss. Great torque pull but a little weak on top (above 5500rpm). Dynod at 192rwhp on a Dynopack. You might consider gearing and final drive changes to wake the car up as well. The later the car, the more fuel economy came into play.
While certainly heavy, keep the impact bumpers, especially if driving on the street. The other reason they are growing on you is 1) age and 2) everyone else goes to the longhood look.
