That is nucking futs. I am a big little kids too and want stuff like yesterday. I have done the coast to coast drive in cars, trucks and on bikes. Just a straight coast to coast tow without going here and there is just work and expensive work too. Some might call it an "adventure" but the adventure part is for all the wrong reasons unless there is some extended sight seeing. And No the prairie dog zoo in Kansas does not count. Why drive all those miles and drive right past all the fantastic national parks?

Lots to see on the far south and far north routes the middle route easier on man and machine. The middle route is also a bit dry and dull. OTOH there is no shortage of cheap sticky carpet motels along the way.
