X2 or more: can you hear the fuel pump running? The one under under the steering rack.

I had a no start issue on 1980 911SC that turned out to be fuel pump issue. The power wire going from the fuse block to the fuel pump was loose in the fuse block. The screw holding with wire in place had backed out slightly from vibration over the years.

I needed a slight trim off the end of the fuel pump wire (was blackened from arcing), reinserted the wire into the fuse block, tighten screw (and snug all others in fuse block) and was running again.
