I, too, watched that restoration. Whenever I was within a few miles I'd drop in and see where things stood (toward the end I walked in one day and Charley Murphy was standing where the gas tank goes, working on the fans I think). Jack did amazing work on that car - he had the
rear fenders off and refitting the frame reinforcements with new (NOS?) parts--real attention to detail. I very magnanimously offered to drive it down to Pete's when completed (

) but jack wanted to deliver it in person...
