I have to travel to Atlanta last minute, so that'll eat a chunk out of my week. And I'm still trying to get this darn throttle issue sorted. Making progress (at least, I think) but still can't get it to work. Gah.
If it weren't for the virtues of plugging into the CAN bus (which requires I run an electronic throttle), I would've gone to a good, ol' fashioned throttle cable a long time ago.

Ah, so it is. You sure you don't have the super deluxe version with the fancy high-revving engine?
Amusingly, the Trailblazer SS, which shares the same block/internals/cam, the redline is 5500 IIRC, so perhaps that's where I got that from.

Dude, this thing scares children at idle. Thought about throwing a straight pipe on there just for grins but for now I'm sticking with the muffler. Don't know if it's doing anything though?
