SOLD****Selling my 97 M3. This was a commuter only car for years which explains the racked up miles, currently at 230k on the clock. (230014 exactly) Even with this mileage though you wouldn't know as it still runs and pulls very strong. It is an automatic, but shifts just like it should very smooth This is a rust-free unmolested example with fully functional factory alarm, factory stereo, factory cd changer, dual zone climate control, fully stock. It's had some recent service including all fluids, recently new headlamps, new fog lamps, newer tires, brakes, shocks, struts, mounts, alignment and current VA inspection. The paint is in great shape and was kept good care of. The interior is showing it's age with a tear in the driver seat and the couple other imperfections, but not hateful.
This would make for an awesome car to start with for tracking or racing due to the straightness and rust-free condition of the car. We were going to start the tear down process, but decided to focus on another race car project instead.
I have a manual trans (ZF) for the car that could be negotiated perhaps into the price if desired. PM for more details and/or more pictures. $5000 obo.
