Welcome to the board! I'll leave it to Dr. K to fill you in on the obligitory introductions, pictures, etc.
Now to your dash. The stories of ill fittting new dashes are legendary, even if they are claimed to be NOS. I believe the best approach, and one that i'm going to do is to refurbish your existing dash. Couple of companies come to mind, Just Dashes
www.justdashes.com/ and Classic Nine Leather
www.classic9leathershop.com . It's not cheap, but less expensive than a new dash, and you know it will fit. In 101 Projects for your 911 has a chapter on dash removal. Your welcome to borrow it.
