Another fun weekend indeed, despite the heat. It was busy, busy weekend from a lot of different perspectives, including a deer hit, failed clutch slave cylinder, non-working trailer wiring, loose suspension noises, and an over-pressurized gas tank. The good news is none were mine.
Thanks to Chip and Greg for coordinating the Stafford Junction event on Saturday. I had a great time with my mentee. And the kids had nothing but broad smiles at the end of the day.
A bit of unfortunate carnage here & there, both on & off the track, but looks like injuries were all very survivable. The threatening rain on Sunday afternoon got many folks into a packing panic, including myself. I don't mind driving in the rain, I just don't like packing up in it.
I also had a great time down at the skid pad on Sunday. Hadn't done it in a long while, and forgot how much fun it was. I managed to hold a drift about 3/4 of the way around!
Cindy & I will be missing PorscheFest, but looking forward to VIR!
