I did not want to project blood lust. I do have a P226 with many 15 round mags as well as a 30 round, But my go to house grab is big fat Glock21 that holds lots of .45 ACP hydroshock P+P. I think if you have to use more than 5 or 6 rounds then something other than shooting should be optioned.
When I speak of defense I am not talking of material things but humans, myself and those around me. If running while screaming like a 13 year old girl at a boy band concert works that that is fine with me. I will see to it that I have as many options as I can so the best method for me can be selected. Care and compassion of anyone with intent to do harm to me or mine is not a big consideration.
The vast majority of defensive gun use does not involve discharging the weapon. Brandishing with good form and a commanding presence is very effective.
