09 Boxster Smokes, Too
I have an 09 Boxster that blows embarrassing amounts of smoke at start-up about 5% of the time. It has done this since new and now has 34,000 miles. My dealer called it "Porsche perfume" and said they all do that (although my 03 Boxster never did...of course the engine failed on that one). I'm not saying you shouldn't take it into the dealer for analysis as others have suggested, I'm just throwing out the data point. Hope it helps. Good luck!
