They just about all need a rebuild after 4 or 5 years. But oil starvation?? Did it leak that bad and that long?
It's your money but a "core" is going to be $1K or more. Since short of a cracked case they all can be rebuilt. Or does you mechanic want some of the more exspensive shafts to reuse??
