As I stated, when someone brings tires into a store for work, whether to be patched, rotated, balanced or whatever, they are REQUIRED to inform you that the tires are considered unsafe per the guidelines established by the State Police. They are also not permitted to repair or otherwise work on them. If you have a problem with these policies, contact the VA State Police since they are the ones who enforce these policies with the tire dealers. This includes sending "ringers" into these stores for various things to test for compliance. If the shop fails to comply, they lose their State Inspection License. They are not being Dirtbags. They are complying with the law.

But what do I know? I'm just a stupid girl.
