At first I thought that was the problem. Saturday and Sunday I was running a quart low and it still had the problem and I have an extended oil pan. I've been researching since Sunday and found a TSB today for the 03 & 04 model years for the AOS. The AOS for the 03/04 engines are different from both previous years and post. For owners under warranty who complained, they installed the motor sports version of the AOS to fix the problem.
Right now I'm thinking of installing it but still trying to find more info to see if it really helps before I layout the cash for the pricy part. This was my first outing at SP with R compound tires which may be part of the change since it's likely I was getting more Gs in the turn.
Or I could just slow down in turn 5, but where's the fun in that.
