[Chronos]

Reminds me of a story I read long ago in Road & Track. I think it was about Jim Clark (or maybe Graham Hill). Once he had pulled into the pits during an event one of his teammates asked him if he noticed an attractive lady standing near the track at one of the corners. The driver answerd "yes" and described the sweater she was wearing.

If memory serves me the teammate had staged the young lady standing at the track as a joke, and was completely surprised that the driver not only noticed (during the heat of competition) but could also describe her!
