I visited this Do it Yourself Mechanics place today. Very, very nice. They have four 2-post Rotary lifts, 1 4-post lift, 2 scissors mid-rise lifts and a motorcycle lift. Lots and lots of space, all very clean and new. Seemed to have everything as advertised on their website. Fees, we felt, were very reasonable. Two mechanics on duty while we were there, ready to help if necessary (you can "rent" them also). They furnished a nice 210-piece set of Craftsman tools, screwdrivers, pry bars. Furnished funnels and drain tubs. They provide a place for used oil, coolant, etc. They also have special tools although I didn't closely at what they were. You should bring paper towels or old rags and if you're going to bleed brakes, bring your own Motive bleeder or similar. You can mount/dismount tires, balance, turn rotors and drums. Owner drives a Shelby Series 1; very nice; also owns a 67 Corvette roadster. They have access to online service manuals. Highly recommended based on my experience. I'll be doing a story for der Vorganger, but probably won't appear until September issue.

Usual disclaimers apply.
