When the car gets warm, are both fans coming on high or just the single fan at low speed?

For wiring a manual switch, all you have to do is complete the ground circuit at the temp switch at the rad or at the relay (at least in my turbo). I'm not using a fuse on either line (I have both the low speed and hi-speed switched via separate switches) and haven't had a problem.
