Crap! And I DO know how you feel about your tools on the ground. I took everything I could carry, then ADD kicked-in and I forgot to make that second trip (for the more important stuff, too)! SORRY!!!
On the other hand, I forgot to borrow the 17mm Allen tool to remove the transmission fluid plug, and the axle nuts I meant to borrow didn't fit (lucky I brought an axle with me...). But after the engine started yesterday, I have lots of credit in the "luck" and "doing okay, thanks" departments.
Also, I forgot to thank Scott for standing by with the fire extinguisher when I started the engine. Here's the order of events: With DME relay out, cranked engine for 10-15 seconds, then ran the fuel pump (by running a test lead from the battery to the lower side of the fuse) for 20 seconds. Then put in the DME relay and turned the key,
then swapped the plugs from the wiring harness, then found the DME wire on the top of fuse 5 instead of fuse 5 and switched that, and possibly switched the wiring harness plugs back again, and it started!
