The seat is easier to get in and out of than other Halo seats, and I did try it (in the car) with equipment on, but of course no roll cage yet. Here's a photo of a similar seat (my seat, the "45 series," isn't on their web site yet). The bottom is different - flatter for road racing (this seat is for short-track racing). It doesn't seem as "containing" as Kurt's seat (even before he extended the containment with his mad welding skilz), but more so than Nadir's seat. If you look carefully, the left side of the halo extends a little less than the right side, to make ingress/egress a little easier. Speaking of which--hey LANE, did you know Chuck worked on your car before I mentioned anything? We were down there talking about how to attach my new fenders, and he started telling the story of your car--I said "was that Lane's car?" (and he said "yes").
