Definitely not the oil, the really lightweight oils will at elevated temps, leak, and contribute to some blow-by on the older engines. Some will dispute this but, I've experienced it personally. Are you checking the oil level when the car is hot AND has cycled through the oil cooler? My C2 will smoke through the wheel wells after it gets hot and starts the C2 oil drip 2 step.
