John B - are you running the Hawk Blues on the street, or changing back to a street pad between DEs? If you're running them on the street, how are they? Noisy as hell, or OK? Do they eat up rotors?
I need to get a new set of pads for the upcoming season, and am torn between Hawk Blues and the Kool Karbons that Mr. Kelly speaks so highly of. Both are the same price, but it sounds like the stopping power of the Hawks is better on the track.
That said, most of my miles still come on the street, so I need good street pads. Which I think means going with Hawks and changing back to street pads between events (3 events a year, so no biggie) or try the "dual use" pads like Kool Karbons. Decisions, decisions...
