They have taken to "pre-salting" the roads around here. I assume this is what they are doing since I have never seen it in action: They spray a water/salt mixture on the lanes before a snow and it buys them a few hours I guess. Or they don't have to plow at all of it's a little snow. Looks like white guitar tablature for miles.
