Hey, thanks for the responses and kind words guys. I'll attach a few pics to this post.

Jazzbass - the Oil pan is removable on the 951 but I would have to think its one of the top 5 worst jobs in the world! The crossover pipe runs right underneath it and would need to be removed (again). On top of that, the engine crossmember would need to come out, and to do that I'd need to drop the front suspension and (I think) that would involve re-aligning the front end. I don't think an Oil temp sensor is worth all that, so I might just end up drilling and tapping the drain plug.

Jim and David, lol I don't think Tony had that in mind seeing as there's no chance this car is 'stock class' legal anymore. Not even close. The NA...maybe but I'd have to ditch the competition stereo thats in there right now (I know I know, Ricer!).

PARENN911, I'll do that, in fact I see a few of the things I need in one of the other sections here. Awesome!

Alright since you asked here are some pics. Mind you the car has been on stands for quite a while now, and I don't think I even took a pic of the car before I took it off the road.

First - the motor when I got the car:

Here's the car about a month ago:

And here's the car pretty much how it is right now:

In addition, you can see pics of my rebuild process in the Rennlist thread I started a while back :http://forums.rennlist.com/rennforum...877&page=1

You can also see pics of my NA (with the crazy interior and stereo system) and my old 84 NA at my cardomain site. That site hasn't been updated in a while, just an FYI. http://www.cardomain.com/id/porschepaul
Thanks again, and if anyone has any of the above mentioned items or a source to get them, let me know!
