Just an aside...Spaz is a good friend of mine, and has moved out of the land of Porsche. Before I became a member here (didn't have a Porsche at the time...), I was a lurker witness to some of his threads that really went downhill fast here. He's a youngin' and I chalk his indiscretions up to a bit of questionable judgment and youthful impatience. He's actually quite a good guy and a sharp driver. He ended up winning rookie of the year in '07 for NASA-MA 944 Cup. He's now buying a few gold chains and is cultivating his chest hair in order to fit in with the other Corvette drivers . He's racing a C5 Vette in NASA's ST-2 this year.

Back on topic. My point is this...Ed, there is hope for you and your targa here as long as you have a thick skin to handle the ribbing and are willing to listen to some of the advice the fine folks at Dorki have to offer. This is a pretty responsible crowd as far as driving goes. Most of us like to push the limits of the car at an autocross or a track event. IMHO, that's where it belongs.
