I will assume that the B-24 and B-17 are the same ones that were available to tour up at Leesburg airport last week. I say assume they are the same given that the plaqcard indicated there is only ONE still flying B-24 in existence!

It was a neat little self guided tour. Very low key. Got to walk from front to back inside the two planes. They were trying to fix an oil line problem on the B-17.. good thing they have four motors, since the "engine builder" has since retired (and likely passed away ) mmm the scent of 60+ year old canvas is firmly embedded in my smell library!
