Man you only had a broken head stud? You saw my chunks. I still haven't decided if I will go with rebuilding my 3.0 or finding another. I worry about what I might get if I have to get a new motor, but I also worry that I might not be able to save mine. I'm holding off my decision till after my engine drop in a couple weeks. Hopefully the drop and teardown will tell me just how bad it really is.

Another option I was considering was to find just a long block and swap all my good parts over, exhaust, alternator, fan, fuel injection, dist, etc. That will end up being the cheapest option I am sure. I'm thinking I might do that while I rebuild mine if it is salvagable.
