Some empirical evidence to back up Tony's suggestion...

I have the Cool Brakes kit on the front of my car. I just changed pads (after 5 track days) last week and found my rears to be paper thin (<1mm of pad material left) while the fronts were only about 1/2 gone (3 to 4mm of pad left).

Clearly the cooling helps keep the front pads from getting too hot and disintegrating.

Anyone know of good cooling kits for the rear?
