For the budget minded Bend Pack makes a 9000 lb 2 post for $2400 shiped to your door. It requires 4 inch concrete which is standard for most slabs. It will fit under a 9.5 celing but has a strip that runs across the floor. At first I though it would be a bit of a nusance but it has not proven to be so. I plan to make a set of long ramps that can be set in the lift arms to make the 2 post work like a 4 post. I have been debating this myself. I knew that if I waited long enough McGyver (I mean Kurt) would figure something out. Maybe you can patent these "long ramps"
