I know that this has been discussed ad nauseaum on Pelican, etc, but help me out here....

With the red levers down and the heater fan control on zero, I'm getting heat thru the vents. (whichever I slect via the red slider on the dash)

But if I switch the heater fan to 1-2-3 and raise the levers, I don't hear any fan come on.

Sooooo...the engine fan is pushing the heated air?
AND the flappers are stuck open?
AND the heater fan is shot?

Should I be able to hear that fan come on as soon as I move the switch to 1? It should be fairly loud at 3, right?

And I should hit the flappers with PB Blaster/WD 40/whatever?

I have the Bently manual, but I'm not too excited about removing the passenger seat to disassemble the heater control box and test every connection.
