My first Porsche was a 67 912. I bought the car in 1994 and it had the 5 gauge dash and 5 speed 901 trans which were nice options that made the car feel and look like a 911 until you hit the gas. I actually bought the car back from the guy I sold it to, and owned for about another year. I already had a 73 911T Targa at that point so I sold the 912 again and moved on. All in all, a very fun car that was a somewhat inexpensive start to Porsche ownership.
My 73 911T Targa is the blue car. I sold this locally as I went through the process of buying a house here in NOVA. The car still exists in the area.
The 912 is the white car and I think it is also still local to NOVA.
The black car is my currently owned 1989 Merkur XR4Tti Turbo 2.3L and a 5 speed tranny. It basically sits until it gets dusted off and taken to shows... normally parks next to Richard Curtis' Red XR in the same row on the showfield.
