Tim, it may be a little premature to worry about this. Just investigate the history of this car, what maintenance has been done, and if it looks like a worthwhile purchase, get a good prepurchase inspection. Any potential issues should be priced into what you're willing to pay. Talk to Marc A. about his 77S and what's he's done to make it a real beast. Good stuff.
